About the event
FWAG East and Affinity Water invite you to join them for a technical workshop with Charlie Curtis.
Charlie is the owner of Progressive Agriculture Services, a company founded to bring regenerative, sustainable, reduced input agriculture to the wider farming sector.
As an agronomist with over 15 years of experience, Charlie works closely with farmers and growers to help them on their journey in clear, measured, and achievable steps to deliver a more resilient farming system.
She works with farms to help them develop and deliver regenerative agriculture strategies and practices. Charlie will speak about how you can start your journey to farming sustainably and regeneratively and give advice on how you can reduce your inputs.
Affinity Water will give an update on the local water quality and catchment projects being run.
Questions about the challenges faced by farmers moving towards more regenerative farming and those experienced through the Hertfordshire cover crop trial will be posed to Charlie.
We will then head out on farm where Charlie will demonstrate how to do a VESS assessment.
Lunch provided and BASIS & NRoSO points available. Please note that this event is only open to farmers.
