Rebecca Inman
Senior Farm Environment Adviser
Rebecca joined FWAG in 1998 having previously worked for the Somerset Wildlife Trust advising farmers. She has a National Diploma in Agriculture and a BSC(Hons) in Ecology and Ecotechnology and has worked on a range of farm enterprises including sheep, dairy, beef and arable farms. Rebecca is also representative on the national Hedgelink group to help establish practical funded solutions for farmers to maintain and rejuvenate hedgerows.

Pat Neylon
Business Manager
Pat worked for English Nature and the Environment Agency before joining Cambs & Herts FWAG in 1999, working as a Farm Conservation Adviser for 10 years. After two years working for Natural England as a Land Management Adviser she returned to work for the newly reformed FWAG in 2012. Pat has a BSC(Hons) in Ecology and Ecotechnology and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and a Chartered Environmentalist.

Shaun Dowman
Agroecology Lead Adviser
Shaun joined FWAG East in late 2022 from Affinity Water where he worked for 7 years as an Agricultural Advisor in the Catchment Management team. He has worked with farmers across the region to enhance water quality in the local chalk stream catchments. He specialises in soil and aquatic ecology and is interested in how regenerative farming and agroecology can build sustainable, resilient, and profitable farming systems but also protect and enhance the environment. Shaun has a BSc (hons) in Environmental Biology and an MSc in Life Sciences and is a passionate observer of wildlife in his spare time.

Nigel Russell
Farm Environment Adviser
Nigel joined FWAG East in March 2021, having worked with farmers in the East of England as a Conservation Adviser for Natural England and its founder bodies since 1999. This role included farmland conservation, Stewardship and statutory advice on SSSI’s and other Protected Sites. Nigel is an experienced naturalist with a passion for the Cambridgeshire fens. He has interest in a wide range of habitats and species, with particular experience in creation and management of wetlands and traditional orchards. Nigel has a BSc (Hons) in Biology and PhD in Fish Biology.

Emily Stacey
Project Manager
Emily began at FWAG East as a volunteer in 2014, while studying for her BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography. She then undertook a summer placement with Cambridgeshire ACRE, where she worked on the Water Care Partnership and the Ouse Washes Landscape Partnership. She is now Project Manager at FWAG East, overseeing projects delivered in partnership with other organisations. She is BASIS trained and provides on-farm advice. Brought up in Hertfordshire, Emily has a love for the local countryside and enjoys being involved in helping to conserve it.

Alice Clark
Farm Environment Adviser
Alice joined FWAG in March 2021, after finishing her BSc (Hons) in Wildlife Management and Conservation and MSc in Applied Wildlife Conservation. Alice comes from a farming background and has previously worked as an ecology intern at a local country park and as an assistant consultant ecologist, where she learnt a range of surveying techniques. As Farm Environment Advisor at FWAG East, Alice enjoys getting out on to farms and delivering projects and advice. Outside of FWAG, Alice enjoys spending time in her native Cambridgeshire countryside and is also a keen archer.

Jilly McNaughton
Assistant Farm Environment Adviser
Jilly worked in Public Affairs and PR in Westminster and Singapore before pursuing her passion for conservation as Communications Manager at Fauna & Flora International. Since 2012 Jilly has combined raising a family with helping FWAG East communicate, in particular in the media and online. In 2020 she began helping FWAG East deliver Natural England's District Level Licensing scheme for great crested newts. When she isn't helping farmers create and restore ponds she enjoys wild swimming and wildlife gardening. She has a degree in Politics, and Diplomas in PR and Horticulture.

Bradley Huggett
Assistant Farm Environment Adviser
Bradley joined FWAG East in autumn 2022 having graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Zoology, Bradley initially stayed in Bristol working for an animal pharmaceutical company. Since deciding to pursue his passion for conservation, Bradley has been volunteering at his local nature reserve and developing his interests through online ecology courses. Having been raised in rural Essex, Bradley is excited to be involved with the conservation of the local environment.

George Gillott
Assistant Farm Environment Adviser
George joined FWAG East in March 2023 from a regenerative farm in Cambridgeshire. He is keen to combine his practical experience, interest in sustainable food production and passion for wildlife by working with farmers to conserve the environment. Raised in rural Derbyshire, George has always loved the countryside and spent several years volunteering at Carsington Water nature reserve. With FWAG, George helps deliver Natural England’s District Level Licensing scheme for great crested newts. Outside of work, George likes to stay involved on the farm and is also a keen foodie and musician.

Tate Oulton
Assistant Farm Environment Adviser
Having transitioned from a career in biological research to the environmental sector, Tate joined FWAG East in 2024. Engaging with farmers and land managers, as a volunteer for the Wildlife Trust, sparked his interest in agroecology, sustainable local food systems, and the role of farming in addressing the biodiversity crisis. He is motivated by collaborative approaches to restoring resilient farmland ecosystems at a landscape scale, underpinning his work as a Farmer Cluster facilitator. Tate is also an active non-farming member of his own local cluster. A biologist by training, he holds a PhD in Life Sciences.
