Member Walk at Bedlam Farms Organic

Father-and-son duo, Clive and Tobias Martin, are 4th and 5th generation farmers in Cambridgeshire. They farm an innovative farming system, growing a range of organic vegetables including asparagus, fennel, globe artichokes, and Tenderstem broccoli.

Wildlife is a crucial component of their environmental practices and they place significant emphasis on enhancing and protecting local wildlife habitats, recognising that a healthy ecosystem benefits agricultural productivity, biodiversity and contributes to the long-term sustainability of farming.

During the walk we shall visit the farm's area of willow carr, an unusual habitat in the fens where there is little opportunity for wet woodland!

We shall meet at the farm at 9.30am for refreshments before we head out on the walk.
