Free ‘Water on the Farm’ Events
Protecting watercourses, managing soil, the importance of earthworms and chemicals in water are just some of the issues covered in a series of free events taking place across East Anglia this Autumn. Brought to you by the Campaign for the Farmed Environment, Catchment Sensitive Farming and the Farming Advice Service, the events will take place on farms in each county and include a farm walk with several stops to hear from expert speakers, including GWCT and The Voluntary Initiative.
Attendees will see best practice water management strategies working on farm and have the opportunity to discuss their own water management challenges with the expert speakers throughout the event.
BASIS and NRoSO points are available and refreshments are provided. Bring outdoor clothing and footwear for all events except that at the Riverside Centre. Discounted seed mixes available. Booking essential – see details below.
